"Architectural fantasy stimulates architect's activity, it arouses a creative thought not just for the creator himself, but also educates and arouses all those who are in touch with him; it produces new vectors, new findings, and opens new horizons. The architectural fantasy in any case develops culture for the architectural problem solution, and through new ideas, by switching over to the new phases of architectural creativity, it becomes the best aid in the real design work. We engage architectural fantasies also to find a form for presenting architectural notions, to find architectural images, to find basics, which would help to depict an architectural style of our epoch.
Fantasy is required; it is needed as a great factor of human progress in the creative aspects. Architectural fantasy, which in visible images shows new, unseen constructions, impregnates architect's thought and excites his imagination. Architectural image, creatively processed in artistic format in the architect's brain and nicely implemented later on, shows how to express architect's ideas, conceptions, and forms by technical means.
Fantasy always looks ahead those opportunities which a human-being can avail himself of. If there is not a fantasy, an architect will be doomed to be a performer, deeply versed in architecture. There will never be advance to create more perfect constructions and to promote architectural ideas, if those who concern it, don't have flashes of fantasies from time to time".
